12-16 Lab WU12-16 Lab Wu is a flexible XLS grade keeper that includes a version of my composition grader, Lab WU [Lab Write-Up]. 12-16 is designed for co-op lab science classes that have 12 students or less and are using a plan based on 16 sections of work, such as 16 chapters, or in the case of Apologia science, 16 modules. 12-16 averages grades in quarters and semesters and yields a final grade for the year.
These co-op schedules are for the various book published by
Apologia Educational Ministries and the schedules were created and
generously donated by Michelle Goodrich, Sheri Neely, Cheryl Randall,
Leah Mitchell, Donna May, Kim Merklin, Tina Thruston, Cynthia Lawrence,

Tina Thruston: We finished Botany in a semester and then went on to Zoology for a semester. We emailed the kids regularly with updates or reminders. Our class time for Botany was two hours every other week. With Zoology we found we needed to meet more often (the book is larger) and so adjusted our schedule. We bought all the supplies needed for the class and kept them in a bin ready to go. The families split the cost. One thing not noted in the schedule is the videos we used. I would go to the library or Netflicks and get a video that pertained to our subject matter. We watched one on photosynthesis, for instance, when we studied that in the book. We also checked out Dr. Wile's site during class or on our own, that went along with the chapter. The kids kept a notebook and designed their own cover. Dr. Wile's site offers notebook pages that compliment the program. They are very helpful. Note: When we studied zoology, we did not revisit bees since we covered that with Botany. |

Exploring Creation with General Science, 2nd Edition, 2 Volumes
You will need to buy the two volume set and that is what I linked above. The two volume set includes the textbook and the test and solutions book. For 7th grade.
This second edition includes updates on relevant topics as well as stylistic changes. The primary function of the appendix (discovered in 2006) has now been included, as have higher-quality drawings and more colorful illustrations. Online resources for advanced students and a review appendix have also been included in this 2nd edition. This kit contains both the student textbook and answer key.
Important: Instructor, be certain to read "Teacher's Notes" in front of the Solutions and Tests book. Students and instructor should read the "Student's Notes" in front of the text book.
