The V Planner's Today Sheet

Latest version - V Planner V2.5-DT

Today is the first worksheet in the planner. It's function is to greet you. It will tell you if today and tomorrow are school days. If you have added items to the Calendar and to the Random sheets, then the Today sheet will present you with date-related and random information from those sheets for today, tomorrow and a week from today. It also has a place for your "sticky note" to yourself.

The Today sheet will also have date related and random information about the children in your planner if you have added information in their calendar and random areas. The Today sheet also has their estimated current running grade average.

What do you do at the Today Sheet?

Basically you look at it. In version 2, I added hyperlinks to most of the other sheets. If you want to add something at the spur of the moment such as a reminder or a comment to yourself, you can do that in the green and white cells that allow typing. Currently those cells are located to the right above the grade average tables.

What if you want to change or remove the background image?

You can do that. The password for the Today sheet is supplied right on the sheet, look for it. Unprotect the sheet in the usual way and enter the password. Instructions for removing or replacing the background are supplied on the Today sheet below the grade average tables. Instructions are based on Excel 2002. Be sure that you protect the sheet when you are finished making changes.

The Greetings

Sometimes a greeting will appear next to your name. The greetings are stored at the "Lists" sheet. You can edit and or add to the list of greetings at the "Lists" sheet.
