Some of us homeschool our high schooler. I was one of those. The V Planner includes the option recording credits and GPA. This option is not on by default. To turn on the credits and GPA option, go to Data at Row 29 and at the question "Will this student earn high school credits?" choose Yes. Go to that student's S-Sheet and you should see the credit and GPA at the top.

The next thing to do is enter the number of credits that the student will earn for each subject in Cell H2. Typically this is a 1, but please investigate how it is done in the state where you live.
In Cell U3 you may select a grade scale. related: Column U
Just a heads-up - GS 3 is empty and if you elect to use a third grade scale, you will need to fill it. I will list the grade scales for GS 1 and GS 2 below for your reference.
| 0% | 70% | 72% | 74% | 77% | 80% | 83% | 86% | 88% | 92% | 94% | 94% | 98% |
| F | D- | D | D+ | C- | C | C+ | B- | B | B+ | A- | A | A+ |
| 0% | 60% | 63% | 67% | 70% | 73% | 77% | 80% | 83% | 87% | 90% | 93% | 97% |
| F | D- | D | D+ | C- | C | C+ | B- | B | B+ | A- | A | A+ |
While you are in "high school" mode, check the Grade Scales to make sure the Quality Points are where they should be. The Quality Points has an effect on the GPA. I have them set at what is considered standard by most. The Grade Scales are located at the GS-QP sheet. There is a link to that sheet in cell V2 on each S-Sheet.
