The V Planner's Random Sheet

The items that you type into the Random sheet appear on the Today Sheet. The Today sheet will show a random item from your lists and from your children's random lists. These items are not connected to dates and the items are displayed randomly, and sometimes, no items are displayed. Dated items should be added to the Calendar sheet.

You have 4 columns in Random. Each child in your planner has one column.

Using Random

The first thing to do is name the headers.

• Header A2 labels your children's random lists. I've entered the title "Goals" feel free to leave it or change it.
• Your headers are the 3 columns on the right. I have entered these titles- "Reminders" as the main title for the 3 groups of lists. The three lists are titled: Important, Goal, Miscellaneous. You can change them.
• After changing or leaving the headers as is, add things to the lists. The items that you add can be changed at any time.

Adding Items to the Lists:
1. Try to add at least 3 items in each list.
2. Numbers alone will not appear on the Today sheet.
3. Repeating items increases the chances that it will show or show more often on the Today sheet.

The column that is labeled "Family Favorites" goes with the menu column from the Calendar sheet. If you want to keep it the way this I set it up, then list your family's favorite menus in the "Family Favorites" column and a menu will be randomly suggested next to the row labeled "Or" on the Today sheet. Continuing with this meal reminder set-up, go to the Calendar sheet and place menus in the column that is labeled Menu.
