Question: If we do not do a lesson that is scheduled, will that mess up the lesson plans?
Answer: No, you can choose to show any lesson plan on the planners.
To illustrate this here is an example using a weekly planner (*If using a daily planner, see Illustration 5.):
Let's say that on Monday, math was not done even though it was scheduled and not only that, math is scheduled for every day that week. The common result of this is that Monday's math will be done on Tuesday, Tuesday's math will be done on Wednesday, Wednesday's math will be done on Thursday, and Thursday's math will be done on Friday. Friday's math is not done and will not be done on the weekend [for some reason or another].
As outlined above, math is scheduled for every day this week. This is what a 5-day plan looks like on the S-Sheet. Please note that Lesson 37 will show in slot 5. The lesson plans that have a white background are the active lesson plans. That simply means that these are the ones currently showing on all of the lesson planners.
Illustration 1

This is what this looks like in one of the V Planner's printable lesson planners [only math will be shown in the screen shot] The planner shown in this example is the DPList. In our example, lesson 37 [in slot 5] was not done this week. Meanwhile, you have not worried about this and you have noted the grades either on the printed planner or you have opened the V Planner each day to record the grades ( and possibly the attendance, but that's not what we are talking about.)
Illustration 2
So, the following week approaches and you open the V Planner to create another 5-day plan. At the S-Sheet, you will change numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 to a y to mark them as finished. Number 5, the lesson that was not done, should be marked as 1 and then you will mark the remaining lessons that you want to show on the planners. See image and compare it to the one at the top.
Illustration 3

This is what it looks like on the DPList planner. See, no problem. Lesson 37 is back.
Illustration 4

*If you use the Daily planner, you will need to re-mark the lesson plans before printing a new daily planner the next day. Because Monday's lesson that is in slot 1 was not done then you will do this - 1 is changed to 2 (Monday's lesson is moved to Tuesday), 2 is changed to 3, 3 is changed to 4, and 4 is changed to 5. There is no 1.
