I'm supposed to be cleaning the house, but I have bandaids. Bandaids on fingers throw a wrench in the house cleaning gears. I can't stand to get them wet. I don't want to wear gloves.Okay the bandaid on my thumb looks like a cat. It had ears so what could I do except to draw the rest of the cat head. I had to use my left hand but I think it turned out okay.
The whole thing
I have a bandaid on my finger too.
I had to wrap my finger and thumb with plastic wrap to keep them dry when I cooked dinner. I had to cut up around 2.5 pounds of pork tenderloin and freeze 2/3 of it. I cooked 1/3 of it for dinner. We had that with green beans cooked with one little cut-up potato. While I was cooking, my son called me as he was driving home from work. It was nice to talk to him.
Speaking of the term, "boo-boo" - that term was something that my son was taught not to say when he went to kindergarten at public school. He was taught to call his boo-boo's, "sores." I didn't have a problem with it, it was just something that I had to get used to saying. I slipped up many times and he corrected me. Eventually I remembered to say "sore" instead of "boo-boo."
While the BooBoo Cat is here, it wants to recommend this book.

How did you get your owies/boo-boo`s ?
I thought that I was the only one that doesn`t like to get band aids wet. They get all slimy and gloppy. Then they slide off, and give you no protection whatsoever. Then you have to get a new one, and possibly get that one wet too...
I have seen that book around for a while, but never have read it. I`ll see if I can get it. Thanks Boo-boo Cat for the recommendation.
I`ll keep my eyes open for that book while I am outside (for an Alaskan that means going to the Lower 48).
I am not fond of wet bandaids but I do put on glove or I have one of my assistants do the work for me
You must be doing some intense spring cleaning with all those booboos.
I`ve come across quotes from that book several times when reading other books. David Quine quoted it in "Let Us Highly Resolve"
I worked with a doctor who said he had never heard of boo-boos. When we asked him what children said in his area when they where hurt he said they called them injuries. We all cracked up trying to imagine little kids walking around crying to their moms "Mommy, I have an injury!"
My thumb injury was by a staple. I do not know how I hurt my finger. They are both fine now.
Yep Sheri, Booboo was needing some light reading.
Actually that`s the real reason I came her today to say that I`ve tagged you. So check out my blog to what I`ve tagged you to do. it is at the end of the entry titled "My Find...Part 2".
