Sunflower

A squirrel took it, twisted it right off the plant and dragged it behind a tree. It heard me approach and it ran off leaving the flower laying on the ground.

I hate squirrels!!! To me they are almost as bad as raccoons and groundhogs. I’m sorry it was so pretty.

My hermit crabs like to eat sunflowers too :) They eat the petals, the leaves, and the seeds >"<

    What a beauty she was:(

Still looks pretty to me even with a bite out of it.

To think that it never got the chance to put out it’s seeds.

I’m sorry the squirrels got the flower but I’m glad you were able to find it.

Heather, those hermit crabs certainly do have a varied diet! =)

Yes, it is too bad the squirrel got it before it had made seeds. That was my last one. I guess I am free to pull up the plants and plant something else there.
