One of my three sunflowers is making a come-back. After the top was twisted off by a squirrel, this plant made side shoots. One of the side shoots is showing some yellow. The other side shoot has already had it's bloom twisted off and left lying on the ground below.

That is very wasteful and mean spirited of those squirrels to just leave the flower on the ground. The least they could do is eat it for goodness sake. :P

I took this picture last week and put it here to publish today. A squirrel twisted this bloom off a few days ago.

I am sorry the squirrel got the flower. They are not nice creatures.
