My son John visited us over the weekend and he brought a few pictures from his trip to Japan. He was there courtesy of the country of Japan through the International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) program which, in turn, is through the Civil Air Patrol (CAP). He was serving officially as an ambassador. (I hope that I worded that correctly.) He did a lot of things while there, he even made a speech on TV. IACE is one of the activities that CAP cadets can apply to do. Of all of the activities a cadet can do and there are many wonderful opportunities, IACE is the icing on the cake. He was in Japan for 2 weeks.
Here are a few pictures from one of the days in Japan. That day they visited Osaka Castle and the market.

He gets his height from dad though! 😉 😆
Donna Young says
He does. 🙂 Elaine, I will send your thanks to him. 🙂

Those are great pictures. I like the one of him in the warlord costume. 🙂 What a great experience.

Very nice pics …it looks a little weird to me seeing the old architecture with modernly dressed people walking around, especially after seeing Japanese movies…lol.
The girl looks cute 😉 😀
