Easy Grammar

About Easy Grammar

Easy Grammar series by Wanda Phillips uses the prepositional approach to evaluating sentences. I used Easy Grammar for my children’s grammar lessons during the early to middle years, and I found it to be an effective program. Once a student can identify the prepositional phrases in a sentence, other elements in the sentence are more easily identified. I also appreciated how Wanda Phillips made the sentences in the worksheets straightforward and appropriate for the lesson at hand. The books have been updated since I used the program and now there are books for grades 2 through jr/high.

  1. The prepositional phrase was one of the hardest thing for my son to figure out. I’ll might take a look at the Easy Grammar.

  2. It is a great curriculum and has helped my kids greatly.

  3. I remember when we first used it eleven years ago. Holly was in 2nd, she used Daily Grams and John was in 5th. John was the one who used it that year. I was so confused at first, but then it all clicked. I’m so happy we used it!!

  4.
We have always loved EG - recently my son in college - taking English 101 came home and told his sisters to study their Easy Grammar as “today” in class they went over sentence structure and the first thing they were told to do was find the Prepositional Phrase - he was glad he had done EG

  5. How cool is that!
