BIG Cal
One day not too long ago I needed a BIG Calendar and I needed it right away, so I made one that I could print. Each month prints on four sheets of paper and, when trimmed and assembled, the Big Calendar measures approximately 21.25 inches wide by 15.875 inches tall (54cm x 40.5cm). Instructions are included on the web page.
You can print a big calendar from: https://donnayoung.org/calendars/big-calendar-assembly.htm

Manuscript Handwriting Lesson Generators
I have added several manuscript handwriting lesson generators to YoungMinds at DY. This sounds really laid back, but let me tell you, this was no easy feat. I plan to add more to this Handwriting Lesson Generator section as soon as I can get to it. You may use them by logging in and visiting the Handwriting Gen page at: Gen Home.
Speaking of the handwriting lesson generators, I also added a handwriting lesson generator to the (also new) ML Handwriting Worksheet page. The generator is in the right sidebar. It looks like an image, but it’s not. Type in the fields to make a custom lesson.

Edited Content
While making content for donnayoung.org is easy, presenting the content seems to be an ongoing process. Without a pattern, I will edit random pages, usually because I read the page and thought, what.
Timed Writing – a decent method to use to help overcome the empty-page problem and start writing. This is an old page at donnayoung.org, and I recently edited the page for clarity.

Word Study details a method that I used to help my children understand the subtle differences of synonyms. The method involved a homemade Word Book, a thesaurus, and these instructions. The Word Study lesson was usually combined with a lesson from “Who Needs an Illustration.”
