This post might be useful for those who-
- Do not use www in their domain name and have set up wordpress accordingly
- Want to or have activated Cloudflare through the website host – this requires www
- Have activated Cloudflare through the website host and are now receiving a redirect loop at their wordpress blog
- Did not activate ssl, or rather, this problem is not related to ssl
If you are considering using Cloudflare and activating it through your website host and you have a wordpress blog on your website, then do the following before activating the service:

- In the dashboard go to Settings > General
- IF there is no www before your url, add it.
- Save
What if you are reading this because you have already activated Cloudflare and cannot login at your wordpress site?
What you can do after activating Cloudflare through Website Host
This assumes that you have access to your phpMyAdmin.
It also assumes you do not write mysql queries
- Login to your phpMyAdmin
- Go to your wordpress database
- Make a backup
- Use search for this or go to the Options table
- Find siteurl under option_name
- Edit the url to add www.
- Click Go
- At the Options table
- Find home under option_name
- Edit the url to add www.
- Click Go
Go to your wordpress site and see if it works. It should, but if it doesn’t then your problem is different from the one presented in this article.
