Homeschool Planning
The Homeschool Planner section of donnayoung.org has a Planning Help section that could easily be missed because it is just a little link in the second row of Homeschool Planner. The section begins at: Planning Help.
Homeschool Planning Help takes you through the early thought processes of planning your homeschool year. Start at the Beginners tab and you will find these articles:
- Step One: Subjects and Goals
- Step Two: Choose Books
- Step Three: Course of Study
- Step Four: Make a Planner
Go over to the How to Make Plans section and you will find tips regarding dividing different book types into small chunks.
In between the tabs Beginners and How to Make Plans are Curriculum Fair and Scheduling Tips.
If you have questions, comments, or ideas regarding the Planning Help section of donnayoung.org, please post them here.
Once in a while I am asked via email if I have any six-day a week planners. I do and I usually email the planner to the individual. Today I've made 3 of the 6-day a week planners available online. You'll find them in the Homeschool Planner > Lesson Plan Forms > Weekly.
Hi Donna,
I love all your forms and especially the grading. I appreciate the Saxon grading form and was wondering if it’s possible to put it in a .doc format so I can edit it as our book is a little bit off from the one you made. Thanks for putting this site together. It’s been so helpful!
Hi Julie, I have the doc version of both of them and I will add those to the grading web page as soon I can.
