Attentive Kitty: Solved
I am having problems working.
The kitty in our house is very attentive and I appreciate that quality about him.
Really I do.

Today I cleared off my desk so I could work better. I don’t know why I think it makes me work better, but it was worth a shot.
The kitty liked my clean desk. He thought that I had made more room for him. He did all kinds of walking and sprawling on my desk. I kept putting him back in the area Zoned for Kitty. He didn’t stay put.
Later while chasing him around the house and letting him ride in the laundry basket, I decided to put him under the basket in the Kitty Zone. That worked and he thinks it was his idea and so he is happy.

That took care of the kitty. The others, my husband and daughter are not as easy. They randomly wander into my work area to mutter something that is incomprehensible to my trance-like state of concentration. Train of thought derailed, I say, what? and they repeat.
Seriously though, I am behind schedule with my work, but it is going great and I am enjoying the work.

Do you have one of the Geosafari units? They are becoming harder to find lately. This is to announce that I have reorganized the geosafari resources that I have here and I have added several pages, images, and files. I have also moved the geosafari page into: Homeschooling > Games.
Kitty will no doubt take all the credit for the DY makeover, too.
Yes, the Mastermind exposed at last!
I just love your cat. I am a mean cat mom and don’t allow my kitty on my furniture.
Your laundry baskets are fixed like I fix mine.
Awww…Your kitty looks so sweet
.
Hmmm…maybe you could buy 2 large laundry baskets, one for the hubby and one for the daughter, so they will have their own ‘Zone’ like your kitty
I can’t keep Jessica out of my laundry baskets
Love Sheri’s comment, the truth will out every time!
You can’t find baskets big enough for the other members of your family?
In the first picture your kitty looks to be saying “You will pay attention to me if you know what is good for you”.
I really wish that I had thought of duct tape to fix my hamper. Now, it is just impossible to carry around.
Sheri you are probably right, it’s all kitty’s fault!
I still haven’t worked out the family distraction problem, I guess I am stuck with that one
That laundry basket started cracking around the one or two of the three handles within just a few months and I taped all three of the handles, even the ones that hadn’t cracked yet. The duct tape did a good job, the basket is around 8-12 years old.
You have such nice problems.
I must own the strongest laundry basket ever. It is 13 years old and it has never even thought about cracking. I only mention that because the kids use it to slide down the stairs far more often than I use it for laundry. LOL
