Steamed Broccoli Tree
Preparing lunch, that daily activity that us stay at home moms partake in, can get so routine that you barely notice having to stop what you are doing to make it. Am I right? No? (I didn’t think so)
I like to make broccoli for lunch. Lately I have been steaming it whole in a tall 8-quart stockpot. It seems easier to do it that way and probably because it is easier to cut. Additionally, you can entertain your family by showing them a steamed broccoli tree.

My daughter was entertained, she even helped with preparing the rest of the lunch menu which was sharp cheddar, tangerines, and an apple.
That’s all folks, I just wanted to show you the steamed broccoli tree.

You are a nut! And I am easily entertained! Cool tree!
Is that standing up all by itself? Maybe my kids would eat it if I could make it stand up like that?
It’s standing there all by itself and it stayed there until I took it down to eat. Pretty nifty! I guess all of those years of playing with action figures with my son paid off.
Only you, Donna. Only you.
That is so cool!
You could make flowers out of thinly sliced carrots(just roll them up into a rose shape) and attach them to your Broccotree
